As the picture above might suggest, I play tuba, euphonium, cimbasso, and string bass. My primary instrument is bass tuba. I have a large-bore B&S CC tuba with a deep and dark tone. As a substitute or regular member I have played in many local community orchestras (including the Lakewood Symphony Orchestra, Jefferson Symphony Orchestra, and the Evergreen Chamber Orchestra), the Colorado Wind Ensemble, the Rootin’ Tootin’s Dixieland Band, and the Flatirons Jazz Orchestra. I especially love brass chamber music and lead the Tarnished Brass and Lakewood Symphony Brass Quintets. I conduct as well and am Music Director of the VFW Band of Colorado. Please contact me if I can assist you with any of your groups or musical projects.
